Who qualifies for ketamine or S-ketamine treatment at PUK?

The service targets patients with treatment-resistant depression, defined by PUK as at least two unsuccessful adequate treatment attempts in the current episode. For OKP-reimbursed Spravato, the Swiss Limitatio additionally requires age 18-74, failure of at least two antidepressants plus one augmentation attempt, CGI-S of 5 or higher, prior insurer approval (Kostengutsprache) and a 10-month maximum.
