How do I access the esketamine program in Zgierz?

Contact the psychiatric ward secretariat at +48 42 714 43 10 (e-mail psm@wss.zgierz.pl). Qualification under NFZ program B.147 is done by the center's psychiatrists: adults 18-75 with moderate-to-severe depression unresponsive to at least two antidepressants; a doctor's referral is required.

Is the treatment free of charge?

Yes — the program is fully NFZ-funded for insured patients; esketamine nasal spray is administered under supervision at the center together with a prescribed oral antidepressant.

How long does the program run?

Up to 34 weeks, starting with twice-weekly visits and moving to weekly or fortnightly visits depending on clinical response.
