Sobieskiego 9 in Warsaw's Mokotów district is, per its own site, Poland's largest research centre developing new methods of treating and rehabilitating mental and neurological disorders. How do I get esketamine treatment at IPiN?
A referral from a psychiatrist is required. Qualification follows the B.147 program criteria: age 18-75 and moderate to severe treatment-resistant depression after at least two adequately conducted antidepressant treatments. Does the treatment cost anything?
No. Program B.147 is fully funded by NFZ, esketamine (Spravato) sessions, administration and the required observation are free for eligible patients, for up to 34 weeks.
