The Centre Neuchâtelois de Psychiatrie (CNP) is the public psychiatric institution of the canton of Neuchâtel, based at the Préfargier site in Marin-Épagnier. It carries out the canton's mental health policy and provides psychiatric emergency care, outpatient and specialised consultations, day hospitals and inpatient stays for children and adolescents, adults and older adults, following an integrated, community-oriented model of psychiatry that aims to keep patients connected to their social environment. It also serves as a cantonal reference centre for training and research in psychiatry.
