The Fondation de Nant is the institution responsible for public psychiatric care in the eastern part of canton Vaud (Secteur psychiatrique de l'Est vaudois), operating under a public health mandate from the canton. Access runs through a psychiatrist. Your treating psychiatrist assesses whether you meet the Swiss criteria for treatment-resistant depression and arranges the referral to the appropriate service of the Fondation de Nant.
