Preguntas frecuentes

Los detalles a continuación están en inglés.

How much does treatment cost and what is included?

Each infusion costs GBP 595. The first visit is packaged: GBP 990 with a direct referral from a UK consultant psychiatrist (infusion, blood tests & ECG, one-time admin fee), or a GBP 450 psychiatrist eligibility consultation plus a GBP 890 initial appointment without a referral. A course of 6-10 sessions is recommended.

Is treatment covered by the NHS or insurance?

No. The clinic states it is a private clinic and does not offer NHS-funded treatment, and that ketamine infusion therapy is not a covered benefit by any insurance plan because it is an off-label use. Payment is due at the time of treatment.

How do I start?

Book a phone consultation via the website or by phone. With a referral letter from a UK-based consultant psychiatrist you proceed directly to the initial consultation; without one, a psychiatrist eligibility assessment is required first.

What does a session look like?

An IV cannula is placed and ketamine is administered over 40 minutes or longer in a private room with continuous monitoring. Expect 90-120 minutes on site including check-in and recovery, and arrange for someone to drive you home.

How quickly does it work?

The clinic reports most patients notice significant improvement by the third infusion, with a stated response rate of about 70-80%; maintenance infusions are typically needed around every 4 weeks in the first year.

¿Considerando alternativas? Ketamine treatment for depression is also available in the UK through other regulated private clinics, a self-pay service run within an NHS trust, and clinical trials of ketamine and related therapies at academic centres.
