Esketamine nasal spray is reimbursed by basic insurance (OKP) only at BAG-designated centres, for adults 18-74 with treatment-resistant depression after at least two adequate antidepressant trials plus one augmentation attempt, with CGI-S of 5 or higher, prior insurer approval (Kostengutsprache) and a maximum treatment duration of 10 months.
