Common questions

How much does ketamine therapy cost and what is included?

The KETAMINA - DEPRESJA protocol costs 15,660 PLN, payable in two installments, and includes 12 intravenous ketamine infusions and 12 psychedelic-integration sessions. Psychiatric qualification costs 600 PLN (50 minutes), a medical consultation 250 PLN (30 minutes), and a single maintenance infusion with integration outside the protocol 1,450 PLN.

Is the treatment covered by insurance or public funding?

All services at FreeMindClinic are private and paid according to the clinic's published price list; the main depression protocol can be paid in two installments. A free initial analysis with a doctor is offered to people considering ketamine therapy.

How do I start treatment?

Fill in the online application form or call +48 691 54 54 54; the clinic calls back to help determine whether the therapy may be suitable. Qualification then proceeds in three steps: a psychiatric qualification with a ketamine-specialised psychiatrist, a medical qualification assessing overall health and contraindications, and a preparatory session with the integration therapist. Each case is considered individually.

How does a ketamine session run?

The session begins with settling into an electrically adjustable reclining chair; patients receive a blanket, pillow, eye mask and headphones with specially selected music. An IV line is placed, ketamine is administered precisely while vital signs are monitored, and medical supervision continues throughout. Directly after the infusion, often still in the chair, the patient talks through the experience and insights with the integration therapist.

What conditions does the clinic treat with ketamine?

Ketamine therapy is used for treatment-resistant depression, anxiety states, PTSD and addictions, as well as chronic pain including neuropathic pain, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), fibromyalgia, opioid-resistant cancer pain and post-operative pain. Response is assessed individually after the initial series of infusions before deciding on further steps.

Looking at alternatives? In Poland, esketamine (Spravato) for treatment-resistant depression is available with NFZ reimbursement through drug programme B.147 at contracted centres, while intravenous ketamine remains a private, off-label treatment.
